The Hearst Foundations have awarded grants totalling $2.95 million to 17 California nonprofits, supporting education, research, and outreach programs. The grants, funded by the William Randolph Hearst Foundation and the Hearst Foundation, aim to drive positive change in various communities across the state.

– USS Hornet Sea, Air & Space Museum in Alameda: $200,000 for education and outreach programs

– Berkeley Repertory Theatre: $200,000 for education and outreach programs

– University of California, Davis: $250,000 for the California Autism Professional Training and Information Network

– Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego: $250,000 to enhance access to psychiatry in pediatric primary care offices
