The Rodan Family Foundation has made a significant investment in the future of Jewish education in Los Angeles, awarding a $15 million grant to the Milken Community School, according to a report by eJewish Philanthropy.

The substantial grant will support the school’s ambitious $135 million capital campaign, which aims to expand the high school’s facilities to the recently acquired American Jewish University’s 22-acre Familian campus.

“The generous gift to Milken Community School will impact thousands of current and future Milken students and the broader Los Angeles Jewish community,” said a spokesperson for the school.

The expansion will significantly increase the size of the school, which currently serves students in grades six to 12, and enable it to admit additional students.

In recognition of the Rodan Family Foundation’s generosity, the Milken East Academic Building will be renamed the Rodan Family Academic Centre.

The grant is a major boost to the school’s capital campaign and will help to ensure the long-term sustainability of the Milken Community School.
