According to Mr. Husaaini Kabir, a board of trustees member of the foundation, the organization has conducted about 10 exercises, benefiting no fewer than 3,000 vulnerable patients. During the second quarter of the year, more than N20 million has been earmarked to sponsor urology surgery for over 100 patients. Those who do not require surgery will be checked and provided with free drugs.
“The foundation is exclusively for empowerment, development, educational, charitable purposes, and supporting the poor and vulnerable in the area of healthcare and economic skill,” Kabir explained. “We aim to give back to the society, especially the less privileged, and alleviate the burden of healthcare costs on them
One of the beneficiaries, Mallam Adamu Aliyu, a staff of the State Polytechnic, commended the sponsor, saying, “My little salary cannot afford me to go for the surgery because the expenses are too much. I pray to Almighty Allah to reward the sponsor.” Other beneficiaries also expressed their gratitude and called on the government, private organizations, and other wealthy individuals to emulate the philanthropist’s gesture.
The foundation has engaged the best medical team and procured high-quality drugs and medical equipment for the surgery. The screening for the outreach is ongoing at the Amadi Rimi Ortopaedic hospital in the Batagarawa Local Government Area of the state. The philanthropist’s generosity has brought hope and relief to many vulnerable patients in Katsina State, and his efforts are a testament to the power of kindness and compassion
