Funke Akindele’s box office record excites Tinubu

The new box office record set by Funke Akindele’s film in the entertainment business has excited President Bola Tinubu.

Speaking on Friday through his media adviser Ajuri Ngelale, Tinubu asserted that Nigeria’s burgeoning entertainment sector is unparalleled in inventiveness and vast artistic potential.

He praised Akindele as well for her contributions to the industry’s expansion.

The President praised the Nigerian creative industry for its quality and recognized its important role as a platform for artistic expression, a significant source of soft power, and a profitable export.

“The creative industry is one of the high-employment sectors, providing jobs for our able and talented youths. It is an industry that is crucial to my administration.

“I salute Nigerians for their enduring support and patronage of home-grown creative efforts. We will provide the conducive environment for the industry to thrive further,” Tinubu stated.
