Gbadebo Rhodes Vivour reveals secret after Lagos state speaker, Mudashiru Obasa was impeached

Gbadebo Rhodes Vivour, the Labour Party’s (LP) candidate for the 2023 Lagos state governorship election, responded to MPs’ impeachment of Mudashiru Obasa, the speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly.

Following a string of scandals involving his financial transactions, the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly was impeached, according to ARISE NEWS.

According to the report, Hon. Mojisola Meranda was elected as the new Speaker in his stead after he was impeached.

But after the report became viral online, Gbadebo Rhodes Vivour has responded. “It is not a coincidence that they all have ambition to become the next governor,” he wrote in a post he uploaded on his official X Twitter on Monday.

This is what Vivour Gbadebo Rhodes wrote on his page;

“Your principal has just indirectly communicated that Lagos is his birthright and that of his descendants, and every aspiring APC politician exists solely to further his interest and that of his family. I have said this before and will say it again. Lagos is bigger than him and we must remind him that Lagos is not his to bequeath”.
