Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, has officially endorsed the decision made by the Benue State House of Assembly to suspend three state officials.

The governor’s initial hesitation in implementing the resolution had sparked tensions between the executive and legislative branches.

“The immediate suspension of the Executive Secretary of the Benue State Lottery Commission, Mr. Michael Uper for the period of one month, effective from today.
