Pascal Okechukwu, a well-known figure in Nigeria and widely recognized as Cubana Chief Priest, has claimed that singer Davido’s repeated losses at the Grammys were orchestrated to annoy him and force him to comply with the demands of certain white music executives who wish for him to participate in “demonic” acts.

At the Grammy Awards Ceremony held on Sunday, Davido lost the Best African Music Performance category to South African star Tyla.

Cubana Chiefpriest reacted with an Instagram post, urging Davido to continue upholding his values and to never compromise for alleged “demonic” figures in the Western music industry.

He urged the singer to swiftly move beyond the setback and continue releasing music and entertaining his fans.

He wrote, “Oyibo dey do everything possible to break a strong man so he can do their demonic sh*t with them but he will never do ot. Heads up brother, open the bag and drop another hot one for us. E no dey finish, gbedu na water.”
