Herbert Wigwe: Family releases burial plans of late Access Bank boss

The funeral rites of Herbert Wigwe, the late chief executive officer of Access Holdings Plc, have been made public by his family.

According to the schedule, on March 4, at the Eko Hotel in Lagos, a celebration honouring Wigwe’s professional legacy as the former GCEO of Access Holdings would begin Wigwe’s burial ceremonies.

The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Lion of Judah Parish, Isiokpo, Ikwerre LGA, Rivers, will host an outing service on March 10 to conclude the burial.

On March 7, there will be a joint singing service at the RCCG, Resurrection Parish, Lekki. This will be followed on Wigwe University, Isiokpo, Ikwerre LGA, Rivers, by a Christian wake.

March 9 is the day of the combined funeral and private burial service.

Along with his wife, son, and Abimbola Ogunbanjo, the former group chairman of Nigerian Exchange Group Plc (NGX Group), Wigwe died in a helicopter crash in the United States.
