Maryjane Diali, a Nigerian woman, has accused her ex-husband of cursing the day she wed him.

On Tuesday, August 12, 2025, she claimed on Facebook that the son of a prominent politician had provided her ex-husband with backups in order to murder her and seize their possessions.

“Dear faceless bully, intimidator and a son of a top politician in the state, for the past 1 year now you have been secretly fighting me for no just cause. First of all, you started by giving my ex husband all the necessary back ups to eliminate me so that he can have all our properties to himself and to his new found love,” she wrote.

Beginning on August 4, she posted pictures from their traditional and white wedding ceremonies.

“I curse this day and may my Ancestors continue to fight you,” she captioned the post.

“It will never be well with you. Go and mark today’s date. Your journey to my life will be the end of your Destiny,” she wrote.

“I had a life before marriage. I was so passionate about my future and my career. I was bold and independent. I was eager to become great in life. I was focused and determined to achieve success not until you came into my life and put me to public ridicule, embarrassment and humiliation. And I curse you this day. May everything that happened to me, happens to you in 1000folds.”
