I haven’t achieved any major thing in music industry – Wizkid

Wizkid, also known as Ayodeji Balogun, is a Nigerian artist who has stated that his musical career is only getting started.

Despite his acclaim, stream, and chart accomplishments, he claims he has yet to accomplish hasn’t much in the music industry.

Speaking in an interview with BBC Radio 1Xtra, Wizkid said: “The journey is about to begin for Wizkid. I don’t see myself as someone who has achieved something major yet. For me, music is a forever thing.”

According to ZINGTIE, Wizkid is the most awarded artist in Africa and one of the most commercially successful musicians there.

He is the most streamed artist across all platforms in Sub-Saharan Africa.

After Davido, he is the Nigerian musician with the second-highest social media following.
