‘I need to get closer to God’ – Singer, Fireboy

Nigerian singer Adedamola Adefolahan, better known as Fireboy DML, has shared his strong desire to deepen his connection with God.

The “Play Boy” hitmaker expressed his intention to strengthen his relationship with God on Sunday through a post on his X page.

Fireboy stated that he needed to draw closer to God.

“I need to get closer to God,” he wrote.

It’s worth noting that last year, DJ Cuppy, the well-known disc jockey and daughter of Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola, dedicated her life to God and was baptized at Holy Trinity Brompton in London.

Following that, she revealed that God had inspired her to create a gospel mixtape.

In a similar move, South African Kefilwe Mabote recently burned her expensive designer clothes after committing her life to Christ.

Mabote explained that she chose to destroy the clothes because the Bible labels such items as “accursed.”
