Mohamed Salah, the winger for Liverpool, stated that he would prefer to win the Premier League title over the UEFA Champions League this year.

The Egyptian international has previously won the Champions League trophy in addition to the Premier League triumph.

For Arne Slot’s team, Salah has performed admirably thus far this season.

This season, the 32-year-old has helped the Reds with 13 assists and 17 Premier League goals.

With 45 points from 18 games, Liverpool leads the Premier League standings at the moment.

“I want to win the Premier League title more than the Champions League this year,” Salah told TNT Sports ahead of Liverpool’s Premier League tie with Manchester United on Sunday.

“I really want it, as a team we want it.”
