‘I was under pressure’ – Chris Okafor makes U-turn, withdraws apology to Doris Ogala [VIDEO]

Pastor Chris Okafor of Mountain of Liberty and Miracle Ministry has withdrawn his previous apology to actress Doris Ogala regarding their years-long secret relationship.

ZINGTIE states that the actress publicly criticized the clergyman for ending their eight-year sexual relationship despite having promised her marriage.

The saga erupted when a video of the clergyman interacting with a young woman appeared on social media.

Doris Ogala, who sought recompense, also charged the cleric with being engaged in scandalous and criminal activities.

In the midst of the dispute, Okafor provided the actress with $10,000. She remarked that this amount was insignificant in light of the evidence she possesses against him.

After the events, Okafor offered a public apology to Doris Ogala during a Sunday service and asked her and the other women he had wronged for their forgiveness.

ZINGTIE reports that the actress continues to drag Okafor despite the apology.

In a new turn of events, Chris Okafor reversed his position and retracted his apology, asserting that he had apologized to her under pressure from those around him.

Okafor, in a now-trending social media video, referred to her as Jezebel and informed his congregation that he would address the issue legally.

“There’s no apology for what I didn’t do or for someone I haven’t met face to face. I was pressured by people I called friends but who are not.

“Firstly, the reason why I apologised was that the fathers of faith were being dragged. And I did not want them to be dragged. Pastor Bishop Abioye, and Matthew,” he said.

He explained the reason for his kneeling and apologizing to her: “I knelt down because of those fathers. Not because of any Jezebel anywhere.”

Remember that Okafor’s second daughter, Amara, claimed to have plans to file assault and abuse charges against him.
