The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has declared that Malam Nasir El-Rufai, the former Governor of Kaduna State, and Joel Adoga will be brought before the Federal High Court of Nigeria in the Kaduna Judicial Division on Tuesday, March 24, 2026.

On Monday, John Okor Odey, Head of Media and Public Communications, signed this notice.

Filed under the suit number FHC/KD/73/2026, the case encompasses charges that include conversion of and possession of public property as well as money laundering.

The notice states that El-Rufai and Amadu Sule (LEDA) face an additional charge at the Kaduna State High Court, identified by case number KDH/KAD/ICPC/01/26.

This case involves charges of office abuse, fraud, intent to defraud, conferring undue advantage, and more.

The ICPC filed both cases on March 18, 2026.

The court will inform about the date of El-Rufai’s arraignment at the State High Court in due course, but the ICPC has confirmed that he has been properly served.

The Commission reaffirmed its dedication to due process and the rule of law when dealing with cases.
