By formally initiating a membership registration process, the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Imo State Chapter has made a major step in strengthening its presence throughout the State’s 27 LGAs.

The party’s leadership claims that the exercise is a calculated attempt to improve the party’s organizational structure and grassroots mobilization in advance of the general elections in 2027.

Key stakeholders, party leaders, LGA Chairmen, and Ward Chairmen from nine Council districts chosen for the exercise were present at the event.

James Okoroma, the party’s state chairman, insisted in his speech that the registration drive demonstrated the party’s dedication to expanding its presence in rural areas and promoting inclusive governance as a means of achieving successful democracy.

He said that because Nigeria was “on the wrong developmental track,” it was not making real progress.

The party is a renaissance movement supported by patriotic Nigerians from all walks of life who have made the decision to make sacrifices for the sake of future generations, the ADC State Chairman continued.

“ADC is determined to bring about a new government that prioritizes education, healthcare, technology, security, and improved living standard,” he maintained.

Okoroma called on members to stay unwavering, cohesive, and devoted to the party’s vision of a new political order that is based on competence, integrity, and empathy.
