Iran, Russia, Colombia, and Cuba have all reacted to the US’ abduction of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.

US President Donald Trump had announced Maduro and his wife’s detention.

Trump said they were flown out of the country following their capture.

However, the Venezuelan government demanded evidence of Maduro’s and his wife’s lives from their US counterpart.

It also accused the US government of “extremely serious military aggression” while proclaiming a state of emergency, as several Caracas-allied politicians condemned the US decision.
