Manchester United legend, Paul Scholes, has called on England head coach, Thomas Tuchel, to include Arsenal youngster Max Dowman in the Three Lions’ final squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Speaking on The Good, The Bad & The Football podcast, Scholes praised the 16-year-old midfielder, describing him as an exceptional talent.

“How good is Max Dowman? He is unbelievable,” Scholes said.

“Look at what Spain did with Lamine Yamal… get him in the England squad for the World Cup!”

“I’ve got a feeling Tuchel is exactly the kind of coach brave enough to take him.”
