Bosa Lee, who manages the well-known Nigerian streamer Peller, has responded following a snub from his American counterpart, iShowSpeed.
During his recent trip to Lagos, Nigeria, iShowSpeed (who is presently touring Africa) overlooked Peller on two occasions.
Peller tried to get close to the American streamer on two occasions, but was rebuffed and removed by security.
In response to the development, many Nigerians on social media condemned
iShowSpeed for showing a lack of respect towards Peller, a prominent African streamer, while others criticized Peller’s management team.
Speaking amid the backlash, iShowSpeed stated, “This tour is to show African culture, and hidden talents.”
When it came to speaking to the public regarding the event, though, Peller’s manager Bosa Lee clarified that the error made was in presenting Peller as a streamer to iShowSpeed.
“Some people are saying his management did not reach out to Speed. Who told you that the management did not reach out?
“I had reached out to them before now but he said no that he is not collaborating with streamers. I think that’s where we made a mistake by introducing Peller as a streamer,” he revealed.
