Grammy-winning Nigerian artist Damini Ogulu, better known as Burna Boy, has credited his staying power in the music scene to his determination and mental strength.
The acclaimed singer revealed that he has pushed forward despite facing numerous personal challenges that could have caused him to give up.
In an interview with NSTV, Burna Boy spoke about the inspiration behind his upcoming album, No Sign of Weakness.
“I have had the most reasons to not exist anymore, but I have shown no sign of weakness. That’s what this album is saying; through everything, no sign of weakness will be shown. That is what I want everyone coming after me to do, show no sign of weakness,” he said.
His upcoming project, which marks his eighth studio album, is set to drop on July 11, 2025, and will be released through Atlantic Records, Spaceship, and Bad Habit.
