According to reports, the earthquake struck Isfahan’s Natanz neighborhood, which is home to a significant Iranian nuclear facility.
According to the USGS, the earthquake occurred 10 kilometers below the surface and 30 kilometers northwest of Ardestan.
Natanz was reported to be the epicenter of the earthquake.
According to ZINGTIE, the unsettling episode occurred in Iran at approximately 10:23 local time.
Numerous buildings were demolished, but authorities have not yet released specific details on possible casualties.
