After doctors discovered a tumour, American socialite and media figure Kris Jenner disclosed her plans to have her ovaries removed.

In the most recent episode of Hulu’s “The Kardashians,” she revealed this to her boyfriend Corey Gamble and her kids Kim, Khloé, and Kendall while on vacation in Aspen.

The 68-year-old made it clear that her ovaries were a “very sacred place” to her, which is why she was upset about the procedure.

“I wanted to tell you guys something. I went to the doctor and had my scan,” she said tearfully. “They found, and this just makes me really emotional but, they found a cyst and a little tumour on my ovary.

“Dr A said I’ve gotta have my ovaries taken out and I’m emotional about it because they came in handy with you guys. That’s where all my kids were conceived and that’s where they were grown, in my tummy. So this is a very sacred place to me.”

Kim Kardashian, her daughter, expressed on the show that she was “really sad” to hear the news.

But Kris reassured her daughters that everything would be alright.

“It’s a whole chapter that’s just closed,” she concluded.
