With elegant Igbo attire, Air Peace started its direct trip from Lagos to London, a move that has since generated discussions on social media.
Regarding the ishiagu outfit, a Yoruba guy named Folorunso Fatai Adisa has expressed support for the Nigerian airline.
Folorunso declared in an open letter posted on Facebook that he was fully behind Air Peace, and he dared any Hausa/Fulani people or members of his tribe who disapprove of the company to start their own airline and fly the same route.
Folorunso went on to say that he saw Nigeria in the dressing rather than Igbo and praised the nation for achieving a noteworthy win through Air Peace’s achievement.
If he ever needed to fly to London, he vowed to use Air Peace. The contents of his letter were as follows:
Dear Air Peace,
Regarding this outfit, I am with you 100%. If any of my Yoruba brothers/sisters or Hausa-Fulani people do not like the dressing, they should do us a favor by establishing an aviation company that will fly the same route, where their crew would wear Agbada and Babaringa. As for me, I didn’t see Igbo in the dressing. All I see is Nigeria; we have just scored a good goal.
In fact, kindly feel free to serve me Igbo dishes if you can. Should I have any reason to fly LON-LOS anytime soon, I shall be flying with you. Thank you and God bless you!
Yours affectionately,
Adisa
