The Lift Above Poverty Organisation (LAPO) has recognised the dedication and commitment of 657 employees with long service and meritorious awards. The ceremony, held in Benin City, saw the employees receive a total of N215.9 million in rewards.

According to Godwin Ehigiamusoe, Board Chairman of LAPO, the honoured staff had put in between 10 and 25 years of service to the organisation. Ehigiamusoe stated, “Today, we gather to recognise and celebrate the dedication, resilience, and exceptional contributions of our esteemed colleagues.”
The employees were recognised for their unwavering commitment and loyalty to the organisation, which have been instrumental in LAPO’s collective success. Ehigiamusoe added, “Their unwavering commitment and loyalty to the organisation have been instrumental in our collective success.”
In addition to the long service awards, 47 staff members received performance-driven Best Staff Awards, which came with automatic promotions. Ehigiamusoe noted, “Additionally, 47 staff members will be presented with performance-driven Best Staff Awards, which come with automatic promotions in recognition of their hard work and commitment to excellence.”
The ceremony highlighted LAPO’s commitment to recognising and rewarding its employees’ hard work and dedication. Ehigiamusoe emphasised, “At LAPO, we firmly believe that our people are our greatest asset. Our success over the years has been built on the strong foundation of dedicated and value-driven employees who have embodied the core principles of integrity, innovation, excellence, customer-centricity, and social impact.
