Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, the chairman of the Senate Committee on Electoral Matters, expressed sorrow at the passing of Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde’s older brother, stating that losing a sibling is always difficult.

In response to Sunday Makinde’s death in the early hours of Friday, Alli, who represents the Oyo South Senatorial District in the National Assembly on behalf of the All Progressives Congress APC, made this statement.

Alli characterized the deceased as a modest and successful man who made a substantial contribution to his family and society in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Akeem Abas.

The lawmaker added that the deceased legacy of hard work and commitment to humanity will forever be remembered.

“I extend my deepest condolences to Governor Seyi Makinde, his family, and everyone mourning Engr. Sunday Makinde.

“May the Almighty grant the family the strength to bear this irreparable loss and grant the departed eternal rest”.
