In Jos, the capital of Plateau State, the fourth day of the ongoing EndBadGovernance demonstration took on a distinct aspect on Sunday.

At the Old Airport Junction protest site in Jos, the demonstrators staged a live Sunday service during which they prayed for God’s assistance in resolving Nigerians’ economic predicament.

ZINGTIE learnt that the service was presided over by Prophet Isa El-Buba, who has been a participant in the hunger protest since August 1.

Hours after President Bola Tinubu spoke to Nigerians about the country’s outrage over hunger and the high expense of life, the service was conducted.

Nigerians have promised to continue the protest until their demands are granted, despite the fact that it was immediately taken over by thugs and is set to persist for ten days.

President Bola Tinubu has urged resentful Nigerians to put a halt to their demonstrations in the interim.

Tinubu in a nationwide broadcast on Sunday said he has heard the protesters’ complaints “loud and clear” and is prepared to have a conversation with them.
