Manchester United winger, Amad Diallo, may be out for the remainder of the season, according to Mail Sport.

Reports indicate that Diallo sustained an ankle ligament injury during training and is expected to be sidelined for an extended period.

The Ivorian is currently under medical evaluation, with concerns growing that his season could be over.

This comes as a major setback for United manager, Ruben Amorim, who is already dealing with several key injuries in the squad.

Kobbie Mainoo will be unavailable for a few weeks, while Toby Collyer and Manuel Ugarte are also expected to miss this weekend’s match against Tottenham Hotspur.

Ahead of the match, Amorim said: “It was a good week until two days ago. We had some problems also. We don’t have players back.

“Maybe we have one or two issues, we are waiting. We have one player also who is sick, so we will see who is fit. But it was good to work with the team, to feel the players and try and improve performances.”
