Monday Gift believes her move to NWFL club Washington Spirit will enhance her prospects of playing regularly for the Super Falcons.
Gift, who transferred from Spanish Liga F club UD Tenerife to Washington Spirit last month, expressed optimism about the impact the move would have on her international career.
At 23 years old, Gift has made only 10 appearances for Nigeria since her debut in 2019 and was left out of the squad for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
The former FC Robo Queens striker is confident that her time with Washington Spirit will improve her chances of earning a more consistent spot with the Super Falcons.
“This move will definitely impact my game with the Super Falcons. Playing in such a competitive environment helps you grow mentally and physically,” she told Sports Boom.
Monday has scored two goals in three league appearances for Spirit.
