The Abia State Police Command arrested Chidozie Humble for illegally possessing firearms, and the management of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, Abia State, reports that it has started profiling him.
Chidozie Humble, a 21-year-old male student in the Department of Animal Breeding and Physiology at Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, was arrested by police on Thursday at a private lodge in the city.
However, in response to the news, MOUAU’s Chief Public Relations Officer, Ubadire Agua, stated that the university’s Chief Security Officer has been informed about the suspect’s arrest and that the man who claimed to be a student is presently being profiled to determine whether or not he is a legitimate student.
According to him, the administration of Prof Maduebibisi Ofo Iwe “will never condone any form of criminality involving any student or staff of the university and will cooperate with relevant security agencies to rid the campus and society of criminal elements.”
