‘My sons abandoned me’ – Nollywood Veteran Clem Ohameze praises daughter’s unwavering care

Since he had a stroke more than twenty years ago, his only daughter has been his only source of support, according to veteran Nollywood actor Clem Ohameze, who has spoken out about his personal hardships.

In a heartfelt speech, Ohameze said that his daughter gave up her happiness to take care of him, while his three sons turned away from him during his health crisis in favor of their wives and kids.

“Since stroke hit me, my daughter is the only person that has not given up on me. She has been taking care of me for over two decades now. My sons don’t care about me anymore,” he lamented.

The actor acknowledged that he had given more to his kids when he was younger, but that life’s unexpected turn has made him incredibly grateful for his daughter’s devotion.

“If my daughter was not born, I would have been a dead man more than a decade ago. You don’t know what God has done for you if you have a girl child. They are the only people that will never give up on you,” he said.
