Popular Nigerian artist David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, has stated that his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, is the most effective leader Osun State has had.
He noted that while many dismissed the governor due to his fondness for dancing, his achievements in office have since silenced critics.
Davido shared these remarks during a recent episode of Culture Knock Out (C.K.O), hosted by Chris and Baloo.
He said, “My uncle, the Dancing Governor is good vibes. He has an amazing story, he is the last born of my dad’s family. They [Osun people] never believed that he would become a governor.
“He is a real example of, ‘Don’t judge a book by its cover’; just because somebody likes to dance and have a good time, it doesn’t mean when it is time to work, he won’t. Now, he’s been the best Governor that they’ve ever had.”
