Lagos, Nigeria The Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF), founded by renowned entrepreneur and philanthropist Tony O. Elumelu, has announced that its flagship entrepreneurship programme is now accepting applications from African entrepreneurs, including those in Nigeria.

The programme, which is in its 8th cycle, will provide $100m in seed capital, training, and mentorship to 1,000 selected entrepreneurs across Africa. This initiative aims to empower entrepreneurs and promote economic growth and development in Nigeria and across the continent

“We are proud to announce the opening of the 2023 TEF Entrepreneurship Programme,” said Ifeyinwa Ugochukwu, CEO of the Tony Elumelu Foundation. “As we continue to build on the success of our programme, we remain committed to empowering African entrepreneurs to create jobs, drive economic growth, and transform their communities.”

The TEF Entrepreneurship Programme has already empowered over 15,000 entrepreneurs across Africa, creating thousands of jobs and generating significant revenue. With its 2023 programme, TEF aims to further accelerate entrepreneurship and economic growth across the continent
