Former Flying Eagles striker, Suleiman Abdullahi, has parted ways with Swedish club IFK Göteborg.
Abdullahi and the club mutually agreed to end his contract.
“Sulle” has struggled despite several lingering injuries. Neither he nor we feel that we got the most out of each other, but we part as very good friends. Sulle is a nice guy who we wish success in his next club,” said IFK Göteborg’s sporting director, Hannes Stiller, in a statement on the club’s official website.
The 28-year-old joined Blåvitt from Bundesliga side Union Berlin in 2022.
During his time at the club, Abdullahi made 30 appearances and scored one goal.
He has also previously played for Norwegian club Viking FK and German side Eintracht Braunschweig.
