Nigerian singer Ayra Starr joins Hollywood

Famous Nigerian singer Ayra Starr has made her debut in the American film industry, Hollywood.

The musician will star in the film adaptation of Children of Blood and Bone.

Having already established herself in the music industry, Ayra Starr will act alongside a star-studded Hollywood cast, including Oscar-winning actress Viola Davis, actress Cynthia Erivo, and Golden Globe nominee Idris Elba.

This move comes just a few months after Ayra Starr entered the Nigerian movie industry, Nollywood.

Other Nigerian singers who have also made appearances in films include Simi, Yemi Alade, Tiwa Savage, Falz, Banky W, and Reminisce, among others.
