Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited has dropped petrol prices for the third time in December 2025.

A ZINGTIE journalist checked filling stations in Abuja on Thursday and discovered that NNPCL had dropped the petrol price to N835 per liter, down from N915.

This indicates that the state-owned oil company increased its fuel price by N80.

The development comes after MRS, BOVAS, and AA Rano revised their gasoline pump prices in the nation’s capital to between N739 and N865 per liter.

According to ZINGTIE, NNPCL and other filling stations’ price decreases came after Dangote Refinery and depot owners reduced their ex-depot prices to between N699 and N800.

Recall that NNPCL and other filling stations limited fuel on December 4 and 10, 2025, respectively.
