The head of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, in Jigawa State and its 2023 gubernatorial candidate, Aminu Ibrahim Ringim, has fiercely lambasted the All Progressives Congress, APC-led administration, accusing it of failing in the education and health sectors.

Ringim claimed that the ruling party had overlooked important areas while speaking at a political rally in Ringim.

He insisted that Jigawa’s citizens should have better social services and better government, and he advocated for immediate reforms.

“It is unacceptable to see only one teacher in an entire school. The government must employ more qualified teachers to bridge the gap and enhance education in the state,” he stated.

He underlined that education is the cornerstone of growth and urged the government to fortify the system in order to give kids a better future.

According to him “Children are the leaders of tomorrow, from them, we expect future governors, presidents, ministers, and other leaders,” he added.

Ringim also asked the government to prioritize job creation and human development, saying that empowering residents will help reduce crime, including theft, kidnapping, and armed robbery, among other crimes.

In order to improve service delivery, he emphasized the need for more hospital staff and stronger capacity-building programs.

He added that, for the good of the state, it would not be a terrible idea for the APC-led government to embrace the NNPP’s agenda.

Ringim responded to concerns about a potential political coalition by stating that the NNPP is still an independent party and is not in contact with any political organizations.

He urged party members to stick together and put in a lot of effort to help the NNPP win the general elections in 2027.
