Omoyele Sowore, the African Action Congress’s 2023 presidential contender, has asserted that Nigeria does not currently have a president.

The activist was responding to a terrorist attack on a rural market in Kabe District, Borgu Local Government Area, Niger State.

According to ZINGTIE, the attack killed at least 30 unsuspecting homeowners.

The troublemakers also lit the area on fire and apparently fled with many others.

Sowore responded with a post on X, questioning why the president has failed to react to the unpleasant event.

He wrote, “More than 30 people have been murdered in cold blood in Niger State, and there has been no word, no empathy, no leadership from Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialABAT.

“Nigeria is effectively without a president at this moment. Since disappearing before New Year’s Day under the excuse of “vacation,” Tinubu has remained silent while citizens are slaughtered. A country bleeding, and a leader missing in action, this is the tragic reality of Nigeria today”.
