Citing notable advancements in infrastructure, security, and economic transformation, the Northern States Governors Forum has reiterated its support for President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
At the start of a two-day interactive session hosted by the Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation in Kaduna, Inuwa Yahaya, the governor of Gombe State and the chairman of the Forum, reiterated the pledge.

According to him, the meeting was an opportunity to objectively assess the Federal Government’s performance, especially in light of the pledges made during the 2023 campaign, rather than being about meaningless rhetoric.

He claims that the benefits of that political partnership are already being felt in the area. He mentioned a number of significant ongoing projects, such as the Abuja-Kaduna-Kano Expressway, the Kano-Katsina-Maradi rail line, the Abuja-Kaduna-Kano Gas Pipeline, the Kaduna Refinery’s renovation, and ongoing oil drilling at the Kolmani Oil Fields.

He emphasized that these show a strong policy focus on improving the social and economic conditions in the North.
