The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has unveiled the official calendar for the 2025/26 campaign.

As outlined in the schedule, the new season is set to kick off on Friday, August 22, 2025.

Reigning champions Remo Stars will face off against Rivers United in the curtain-raiser, which will take place in Ikenne.

A scheduled mid-season break has been set from December 30, 2025, to January 6, 2026, allowing players and clubs a short respite ahead of the second half of the league.

In line with transfer regulations, the mid-season transfer window will open on January 1 and close on January 30, 2026.

The season is scheduled to wrap up on Sunday, May 24, 2026.
