Nigerian music star Stanley Omah Didia, popularly known as Omah Lay, has shared that financial comfort could help ease his battle with depression.

The artist, known for his hit song ‘Soso’, made the remark in a social media post on Tuesday, where he stated that receiving 10 million in either pounds or dollars would be enough to uplift his mood for at least a month.

Omah Lay, who has previously spoken openly about his ongoing struggle with depression a condition he said nearly cost him his life wrote on his X account: “10M in pounds or dollars right now will heal me for at least a month.”

The singer has hinted that his upcoming second studio album, titled Clarity of Mind, will explore his mental health journey and path to emotional recovery.

His first album, Boy Alone, released on July 15, 2022, reflected his struggles with depression through emotionally charged lyrics and melodies.

Just a few days later, on July 18, 2022, he disclosed via his X handle that his mental health took a further downturn following an intimate encounter with his therapist.
