According to Gianni Infantino, president of FIFA, only the top football organisation can decide who is the world’s finest player.

During Tuesday night’s 2024 FIFA The Best Awards, the football was reportedly making fun of the Ballon d’Or.

He asserted that due of its unique voting mechanism, the football governing body ought to be the one to choose the world’s best player.

Football’s most sought-after individual honours are FIFA The Best and the Ballon d’Or.
