Otto Bremer Trust Invests Over $15 Million in Community Development Across Four States

The Otto Bremer Trust (OBT) has announced a significant investment of over $15 million in grants and program-related investments (PRIs) to support organizations across Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, and Wisconsin. This funding aims to drive meaningful change and improve the quality of life for communities across the region.

The funding allocation includes:

– $10.1 million to Minnesota-based organizations, focusing on education, healthcare, and economic development initiatives

– $3.3 million to Montana-based organizations, supporting projects in rural development, conservation, and community engagement

– $1.1 million to Wisconsin-based organizations, emphasizing education, arts, and cultural programs

– $450,000 to North Dakota-based organizations, targeting initiatives in healthcare, human services, and community development

Recipients of the funding include:

– Dream Center Bismarck (Bismarck, North Dakota): $100,000 to support meal and food provision for families in need, serving over 500 individuals monthly

– Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation (Minneapolis, Minnesota): $550,000 for education programming to improve community cardiovascular health, reaching over 10,000 individuals annually

– Great Falls Development Authority (Great Falls, Montana): $1 million to support economic opportunity expansion and quality of life improvement initiatives, creating jobs and stimulating local economic growth

OBT trustee and CEO Frank Miley emphasized the impact of these investments, stating, “These investments will support the inspiring work of organizations driving meaningful change in communities across our four-state region.
