The Nigeria Immigration Service, NIS, has announced that its passport application system is now available for best service.

According to DCI KT Udo, NIS Public Relations Officer, system maintenance and upgrades caused the gateway to be temporarily unavailable.

This was stated in the statement, “Passport Application Portal Now Back in Optimal Service,” which was signed by Udo.

According to the statement: “After a system upgrade and maintenance, the Nigeria Immigration Service has deemed it necessary to notify the public that our online passport application platform is once again operating at peak efficiency.

“While we apologize for any inconvenience the recently concluded system upgrade and maintenance may have caused, we deeply appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.

“The Service also wishes to reiterate our commitment to serving Nigerians across the globe with excellence.”
