Pastor narrates how his Bishop used mortuary water in church during Holy Communion on Sunday

According to disturbing allegations made by Eldoret pastor Mwaka, his former bishop used to purchase mortuary water at night and combine it with Holy Communion during Sunday services.

Pastor Mwaka claims that after finishing his Bible studies, he became a member of an Eldoret church. They welcomed him when he identified himself as a pastor and asked to join in fellowship.

He clarified that he spent the most of his time in church because he had a strong desire to develop spiritually. He eventually became his companion when the bishop went out to preach.

But he caught an odd glimpse. The bishop would always instruct him exactly what to say when he had the opportunity to preach.

When the bishop once asked him to go with him to a certain mortuary at night, things took a troubling turn. Bottles of water were constantly brought back by the bishop.

Eventually, Pastor Mwaka became curious and questioned the bishop why the water was there. The bishop then admitted that they were combining Holy Communion with the funerary water. He asserted that it was used to “heal” people and bond them spiritually so they would follow his instructions and remain in the church.

Pastor Mwaka felt appalled. He found it hard to believe that they had truly purchased the water when the bishop led him to the morgue one day. When they got back to the church, they combined it with the Holy Communion that the congregation would subsequently receive.

Pastor Mwaka quit going to church because he was so shocked and appalled. He says he was compelled to flee to Nairobi after the bishop started threatening him. He now claims to serve God honestly while leading his own church in the city.
