The 101st meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) National Executive Committee (NEC) has been announced.

The party’s National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, signed a message on its official X feed on Tuesday that included this information.

The statement said that the summit would take place in the party’s national secretariat in Abuja on Wednesday, July 23, Thursday, July 24, and Friday, July 25, 2025.

It added that the national chairman, current and former presidents and vice presidents of the Federal Republic of Nigeria who are party members, and the chairman and secretary of the Board of Trustees (BoT) are all members of the NEC, as stipulated by Section 31(1) of the PDP Constitution (as amended in 2017); all other members of the Board of Trustees (BoT); Senate principal officers who are party members; and no more than eighteen active senators nationwide who are party members.

Other members include all state governors who are party members, all national officers of the party (NWC members) and their deputies, all state chairmen, and the party’s principal officers of the House of Representatives, as well as no more than 24 active members of the House of Representatives nationwide who are party members.

The statement listed six ex-officio members, all former members of the National Working Committee who are still party members, all former principal officers of the National Assembly who are still party members, and all former state governors who are still party members as additional members of the NEC.
