PDP announces inauguration date for National Convention organising committee

The date of the 2025 National Convention Organizing Committee’s (NCOC) inauguration has been announced by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

This came after the National Working Committee (NWC) and the National Executive Committee (NEC) gave their assent.

Debo Ologunagba, the party’s national publicity secretary, made this announcement on Thursday.

The statement claims that the inauguration was planned by the party for Tuesday, September 2, 2025.

According to the statement, Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State is the secretary, Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State is the vice chairman, and Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State is the chairman of the 110-member PDP 2025 National Convention Organizing Committee.

In a same spirit, the NWC called on all party leaders, important stakeholders, and throngs of members to stay unified, stay focused, and keep working together to ensure the success of the PDP 2025 Elective National Convention, which is set to take place in Ibadan, Oyo State, in November.
