Key PDP leaders and other opposition leaders have been praised by activist lawyer Deji Adeyanju for uniting to challenge the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming election.
In particular, the lawyer expressed gratitude to the PDP’s leaders for abandoning the party in favor of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Former Senate President David Mark, former Jigawa State Governor Sule Lamido, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, and other PDP officials expressed their disapproval of the party on Tuesday, according to a report by ZINGTIE.
Other PDP members were urged to join the movement by the party’s leaders, who used ADC as a platform to unseat President Bola Tinubu in 2027.
In response, Deji expressed his happiness that “PDP is finally dead” in a post on his Facebook page.
“I’m proud of the opposition for coming together finally. Special thanks to Atiku, Obi and other top opposition leaders for putting aside their personal ambition to make this happen.
“I hope Kwankwaso will also do same. This is what they should have done in 2023. Whenever you wake up is your morning. Good morning to the opposition”, the post added.
