In order to reposition the party to regain power in the state by 2027, top PDP members convened another stakeholders conference in the Abia North zone.

The members, drawn from Abia North’s five local governments, decided to avoid any polarizing tendencies that had previously impacted the party.

Abraham Amah, a member representing Ohafia North constituency in Abia State House of Assembly, PDP Chiarman, spoke at the gathering, which was hosted at Mandela Obasi’s house in Abriba. He expressed optimism that the PDP will rise again by regaining the State Government House and other elective seats.

He insisted that only those who emerge from legitimate primary elections and has the ability to win main elections would receive the party’s tickets for the 2027 elections.

The PDP has now returned to the people, Amah stated, emphasizing that the days of feeling and impunity were finished in his party.

However, he is sending a strong warning that anyone who works against the party’s interests while claiming to be a PDP member will suffer divine repercussions.

The meeting’s host, Mandela Obasi, who represents Ohafia North in the Abia State House of Assembly, and Emmanuel Ndubuisi, who represents Bende South, also spoke. They declared that, unlike some of their colleagues, they would not leave the PDP for another political party but would instead strive for the party’s future success.

Abraham Amah, the State Chairman, and other officials signed the following statement: “The Leaders categorically committed themselves to working assiduously towards ensuring that the PDP reclaims the Abia State Government House come 2027”
