Samuel Anyanwu has been confirmed as the National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) by the National Executive Committee (NEC), according to a statement made on Monday by Umar Damagum, the party’s acting national chairman.

Following the NEC meeting, which took place at the party’s headquarters, Damagum gave a speech in Abuja.

He claimed that Anyanwu’s confirmation was among the important decisions made during the NEC meeting, which is still the party’s highest decision-making body.

“Let it be clear that the NEC has affirmed Senator Samuel Anyanwu as the National Secretary of our great party,” Damagum stated.
