PDP Reveals What Has Kept Its Cross River Chapter Together

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Cross River State has attributed the cohesion and progress recorded by the party to the support and leadership of its national leader and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, as well as its presidential candidate, Prof. Sandy Onor.

The party said both individuals have also created opportunities for members to serve in different capacities within the organisation.

State Chairman, Venatius Ikem, stated this in a message marking five years in office for members of the State Executive Committee who returned for another term.

Ikem described the opportunities provided to members as part of the experiences that have shaped their political journey and contributed to their continued commitment to the party.

He congratulated members of the committee while recognising the challenges, experiences and sacrifices that had characterised their years of service.

Ikem said despite the difficulties encountered during the period, members had remained dedicated to the PDP and continued to work collectively to sustain the party.

He noted that the various responsibilities handled by members, regardless of their size or status, remained vital to the overall strength of the organisation.

According to him, the State Executive Committee is bound together by a shared spirit of struggle, sacrifice and service, adding that the experiences accumulated over the years had strengthened members and deepened the relationships developed along the way.

The committee also expressed gratitude to God for the challenges it encountered, saying the experiences had offered valuable lessons and connected members with individuals who had made significant contributions to their lives.

The State Executive Committee appreciated its members, supporters and stakeholders for their encouragement and support, while congratulating everyone on the anniversary.
