Another significant achievement in the remarkable career of Nigerian musician Phyno, real name Chibuzor Azubuike, has been reached with the publication of his eagerly awaited fifth album, “Full Time Job.”
Phyno said that because every song on the album draws from his cultural background and personal experiences, it is evidence of his commitment to his craft.
The 37-year-old rapper and musician entertained and engaged with fans at the Listening Room, located in the Landmark Tower in Oniru, Lagos, on October 3, 2024.
Phyno’s latest singles were played at the event, sending hundreds of music enthusiasts and important industry players into a frenzy.
Timaya, Cheque, Jude Okoye, Ushbebe, Cubana Chief Priest, music producers, managers, and others were there.
“This album is a masterpiece that did not happen by chance. It reflects my daily experiences and the sacrifices I’ve made in my career. Every song is a piece of my journey,” Phyno said.
With a great roster of collaborations, “Full Time Job” highlights Phyno’s development as an artist by fusing modern inspirations with indigenous sounds.
With collaborations from famous musicians including Burna Boy, Cheque, Fave, Johnny Drille, Chip, ArrDee, and the UK group NSG, it has fifteen tracks total.
ArrDee appears in Time Of My Life, Burna Boy appears in Do I (Remix), Flavour appears in Men Don Show Face, and Hushpuppi appears in Nwoke Esike, an interlude.
“Full Time Job” is sure to strike a chord with fans of the song as well as new ones because to its inventive sound and deep lyrical substance. The album is available for download or streaming on all major platforms and at https://phyno.ffm.to/fulltimejob.
